Utility Billing
Utility Payments

Utility payments can be made at 5705 Azle Ave, Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. There is a drop slot for after hour payments.
Please keep in mind, Utility payments are due on the 15th of each month. Any payment after 5 pm will be assessed a $10 late fee. Payments not made by the 24th of each month will be on the cutoff list on the 25th and will require a reconnect fee (see fees below).
Fees; First late – $25, second late – $50, and third late and any thereafter $75 plus an additional $200 deposit required before reconnection.
The City does accept credit card payments during normal business hours. There is a 4% process fee included.
There is a $35 return check fee on all returned checks. the City will not accept checks after three failures.

New Residential water service requires a $100 deposit plus a $25 service fee. The Commercial water service requires a $200 deposit plus a $25 service fee.

A certificate of occupancy (CO) is required on all rental properties before a tennant is granted water service. The fee for the CO is $100 and is completed through City Hall. Inspections are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. You may come by City Hall between 8am and 5pm to set up an inspection.

Garbage & Bulk Pickup
The City’s scheduled weekly IESI garbage pickup is Wednesdays and Saturdays. Garbage should be placed at the curbside by 7 a.m.
Wednesdays-Basic garbage and brush in disposable or permanent containers.
Saturdays – basic garbage, brush, and bulky item pickup. Bulky items include; freezers, mattresses, furniture, stoves, hot water heaters, fence panel (cut in half), and other similar appliances. Brush that cannot fit into a disposable container shall not be over 4 feet or weigh in excess of 50 pounds.
Unacceptable items; tires, hazardous waste, liquids (including paint), chemical, fertilizer, propane tanks, bricks, concrete, rocks, dirt, and non containerized debris.
Bulk Pickup; quarterly bulk and brush pickup is scheduled for the third Wednesday every 3 months.
Remaining 2013 scheduled Bulk Pickups;
Wednesday, March 20th/ Wednesday, June 19th/ Wednesday, September18/ and Wednesday, December 18th . Please have your bulk items out by then or you will not get your pickup.
Each resident is allowed to put up to 25 cubic feet of loose brush (approximately the size of a full size truck). No single item in the pile should be over 15 feet long and or weigh over 300 pounds.
Special bulk pick up is available through IESI for you. You may contact IESI for an estimate of the cost. (817)222- 2221.

Senior Citizens
The City of Lake Worth and River Oaks both offer Senior Citizen activities, they do not require residency to attend. Both Centers are within 3 miles of Sansom Park City Hall. Below you will find a links to their centers along with scheduled activities.
